First you have to do the area of a rhombus or you can make it easier and just cut it in 2 triangles and use to formula A=1/2 B*H and once ur done doing 1 triangle do the other and add both

Larissa argued that since log2(2) = 1 and log2(4) = 2, then it must be true that log2(3) = 1.5. Is she correct?
mestny [16]

Answer:

2^{1.5} = 2.8284. This means that Larissa is not correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve logarithms, we have to consider the following:

\log_{a}(b) = c means that a^{c} = b.

So, for example:

log_{2}(2) = 1 because 2^{1} = 2.

log_{2}(4) = 2 because 2^{2} = 4.

If 2^{1.5} = 3, then Larissa is correct. However, 2^{1.5} = 2.8284. This means that Larissa is not correct.

At what steps in the process could a bill die?
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

The bill returns to the house of origin.

If the bill advances with amendments, it returns to the house of origin. The house of origin may fail to take action, and the bill “dies.” The legislative body may vote to approve the changes made by the second chamber.

The side of one square is equal to 3m and its diagonal is equal to the side of a second square. Find the diagonal of the second
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

6m

Step-by-step explanation:

the side of first square = 3 m

area of first square = 3^2= 9 m^2

let the side of second square = x m

since diagonal of first square = x m as per the question

in a square each angle is 90 degree

therefore by applying pythagorus theorem ,

diagonal ^2 = side^2 + side ^2

diagonal^2 = 3^2+3^2=9+9

DIAGONAL= square root of 18

diagonal= 3\sqrt{2} m = side of second square

therefore in second square ,

one angle is 90  degree , therefore by applying pythagorue theorem

diaqonal^2 = side ^2 + side ^2 = (3\sqrt{2})^2 + ( 3\sqrt{2})^2

diagonal ^2 = 18 + 18

diagonal = square root of 36

therefore diagonal of second square is 6m

Please help me solve this equation and show the work show me how you got the answer
Nesterboy [21]

Answer: k=3

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for k, you want to isolate k.

\frac{2}{5} (5k+35)-8=12            [add both sides by 8]

\frac{2}{5} (5k+35)=20                  [multiply both sides by 5/2]

5k+35=50                       [subtract both sides by 35]

5k=15                               [divide both sides by 5]

k=3

Now, we know that k=3.
