Answer:

The correct answer is A: The United States failed to join the organization.

Explanation:

The League of Nations, the predecessor organization of the United Nations, was first established in 1920, at the end of World War I, as a consequence of the peace talks in the Paris Peace Conference. This first multinational organization was supposed to be a way to prevent further global conflicts, such as the First World War, from happening. It was conformed by the Big Five, the five crucial actors in the war that fought against Germany and her allies. These Big Five, were France, Britain, Japan, Italy and the United States. However, the problem arose when several nations, who were supposed to join the organization, and support it, did not even sign their entrance. One such nation was the U.S, one of the main defendants of the League of Nations, but who, at the last moment, decided not to join it. This destabilized the entire organization and rendered it defenseless.

NEED HELP ASAP!!!! Explain how the caste system is structured and why it results in social inequality.
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

The caste system is structured in terms of the businesses. The area of work defines what caste a certain person belongs to. Work lines such as agriculture and trade are considered as the higher and more prestigious castes whereas the lower level works such as music is considered as a caste of lower rank.

People are known from the caste background they belong to and that defines their role in the society. People tend to marry in the same caste to avoid mixing up in lower castes. some castes are given preference over other in the employment market. This also gives rise to inequality in the society.
