A fraction is just a short way to write a division problem.

Every fraction really means

(the top number) divided by (the bottom number).

When you actually do the division, the quotient is the decimal for the fraction.

To find the decimal for 23/50,  divide 23 by 50 .

The last choice is appropriate.
