Anything that sounds like a name, city, month, etc. gets capitalized... So for example the first sentence would be...
Early in April, Paula and Harry Jones left on their trip.

It could be (B) or (C) though most of the time after writing a rough draft the person will give it to someone else to see if it sounds right then they'll rewrite it if there is something to change, that's why id choose (C)
