In the given case, Adeline is probably to get scared and shocked regarding menarche as the culture of her time did not assist in educating young women about menarche.

Menarche refers to the initiation of the menstrual cycle, or first menstrual bleeding, in females. From both the medical and social point of view, it is usually regarded as the principal incident of female puberty, as it indicates the probability of fertility.

Answer:

placing the client in the side lying position in bed

Explanation:

Based on the scenario being described within the question it can be said that the the most appropriate nursing action would be placing the client in the side lying position in bed. This is the best action in this scenario as it will help the individual drain the secretions that may otherwise cause aspiration pneumonia which is a lung infection that develops after you inhale liquids or vomit into your lungs.

kaheart [24]

Answer;

-Archaeocytes

Cells that move about in the mesohyl, digest particles, and may specialize for other functions are the archaeocytes.

Explanation;

-Archaeocytes are very important to the functioning of a sponge. These cells are totipotent, which means that they can change into all of the other types of sponge cells.

-Archaeocytes ingest and digest food caught by the choanocyte collars and transport nutrients to the other cells of the sponge. In some sponges, archaeocytes develop into gametes.

What adaptions give flowering plants a reproductive advantage over gymnosperms?
denpristay [2]
Animal pollinations give flowering plants reproductive advantages over gymnosperms. Take a bee for example. A bee may pollinate a flower, but the leftover pollen on the bee's body or wings can spread to other flowers.

Students often get the impression that DNA must be replicated prior to protein synthesis. Explain why DNA is only replicated pri
matrenka [14]

Answer:

Because each daughter cell must contain an equal and correct amount of genetic material (DNA)

Explanation:

Mitosis and Meiosis are both types of divisions that cells undergo. They both involve the production of new daughter cells. Each cell contains the information needed by it for its life processes. This information is stored in the genetic material known as DNA.

However, when a cell divides during mitosis and meiosis, two and four new daughter cells results respectively. These daughter cells need to contain the genetic material (DNA) that stores the genetic information needed for their survival. The cell ensures that each daughter cell that will result from the process of mitosis and meiosis contains this genetic material by undergoing a process called DNA REPLICATION before the start of the divisions (mitosis and meiosis).

DNA replication is the process of doubling or duplicating the information in the DNA. Hence, at the end of the replication process, the cell contains two copies of the genetic material (DNA) which separates into the daughter cells equally during cell division (mitosis and meiosis).

Protein synthesis does not need DNA replication as it involves using the information in the genetic material (DNA) to synthesize useful products (protein).
