If we multiply this out, we get the equation to be this:
5n-10=5n-10
5n=5n
n=n
This is a true statement, so there are infinite answers. Since whatever n is, the other side will be the same, it is an equation with infinite solutions.

Since the left side is equal to the right side it has infinitely many solutions. This means all real numbers would be a solution

Simplifying x + -1.4 = 7.82 Reorder the terms: -1.4 + x = 7.82 Solving -1.4 + x = 7.82 Solving for variable 'x'. Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right. Add '1.4' to each side of the equation. -1.4 + 1.4 + x = 7.82 + 1.4 Combine like terms: -1.4 + 1.4 = 0.0 0.0 + x = 7.82 + 1.4 x = 7.82 + 1.4 Combine like terms: 7.82 + 1.4 = 9.22 x = 9.22 Simplifying x = 9.22

Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

The middle two expressions shown are not polynomials

Step-by-step explanation:

Polynomial terms have positive integer exponents on any variables. A 2/3 power is not an integer exponent. Division by y is equivalent to an exponent of -1, which is not a positive integer.
