Answer:

A. risk of lung disease, like silicosis

B. risk of high blood pressure

Explanation:

Surface and underground mining have a significant effect on the health of miners.

The effect are:

1) Respiratory diseases: Diseases associated with the respiratory organs are most come with miners. This is because miners are constantly exposed to dust and they tend to breathe in this airborne dust particles on a regularly basis.

Pneumoconioses is an examples of respiratory lung diseases that comes in two forms

a) silicosis : This is a lung disease that is causes by inhaling particles of silica

b) Black lung: This is a lung disease that occurs in coal miner due to the consistent inhalation of coal dust.

2) High blood pressure is a common health risk that has been found to be present in miners but surface or underground miners. The mining job is very stressful and this could result in an increase in their blood pressure level.

Explain why extended exercise is considered to be "healthy"
sp2606 [1]
Many physical disorders that occur in humans are attributed to the styles of living and general eating habits. Conditions such as diabetes, depression, dymentia and even some cancers are led by bad eating habits. A friend once asked me: Now that I do not want to become obesse but want to be muscular, what will I do since I have to gain mass but I don't want to overfeed? My answer was so simple. EXERCISE
Exercise can be in many forms. The most common modes of exercise are gym and athletics. If you don't do regular exercise, your body does not find a chance to get rid of the many wastes produced by different metabolic processes. Some of these products are toxic and they lead to bad effects in the body. The effect is getting lifestyle diseases.
Exercise plays a key role in boosting your memory. During and after exercise, blood becomes more oxygenated and the supply of oxygenated blood to the brain is increased. This ensures there is renewed strength in the brain parts e.g. hypothalamous and hence boosting thinking ability.
We can not overlook the fact that exercise is fun. When exercising, you are happy and happiness makes you stay healthy.

How would you characterize the style of parenting under which you were raised? Was the same style used by both of your parents?
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

I have been raised under an autthoritative parenting style, and my parents were both raised under an authoritarian style (it was more evident in my mother, because my father's mum died when he was 13). I think it was authoritative because they didn't let me do whatever I wanted, but they also didn't keep so much control on me, so I had certain level of freedom, as long as I didn't break anything xD
