The Germans were forced into serving the military and if the would abide they would be shot and killed on the spot. The german people themselves suffered aswell with living in wars for four years. Bombs would reguarly be droped over Germany. After the war ended the World made sure that Germany would pay by reducing military and paying back other nations.
