Archy [21]
Stage directions are small lines put into the script (often in italics) that give the reader an idea of potential movement, what's going on in the scene, what other characters may be experiencing or the expression one may see on their faces. That would mean C is the best possible answer here.

Explain how a reader might interpret the same character, in two different settings, differently.
oksian1 [2.3K]
In two different settings, there may be different trials to be faced or different rules. Depending on where the character is will affect the way they act. For example, if a character was at a fancy restaurant they may act differently than they might've if they were at a crime scene. I hope this is helpful!!

Is the Rivals a comedy or a farce?
madreJ [45]

Answer:

comedy, hope i get brainliest!!!

Explanation:

The Rivals is a comedy of manners. Its farcical storyline depends on mistaken identities and miscommunication. The characters' lives are woven together through arranged marriages and duels. Fortunately, Sheridan's characters are timeless enough to shine through the nonsensical context.Jul 24, 2009

Genre: Comedy of manners

Playwright: Richard Brinsley Sheridan
