Given two equations containing x and y you are able to find two solutions x and y if they exist.

Hope this helps.

Hello, I hope you're doing great today. :)

Let's get you help with this question, comment if you have any questions.

First, let's learn about x and y intercepts. :)

We know that x is a point on the graph where y is zero, and y is a point on the graph where x is zero.

Mostly in this case, we have an equation, like 6x - 7y = 30.

Anyways -- here's how we find the x- and y intercepts.

For a linear equation, to find the "x" value, plug in y for 0. If you're trying to find "y", plug in 0 for x.

It's as simple as that! Try it with the example I did.

Have a fantastic day.

What is the approximate area of the figure? A. 947.8 square feet B. 194.2 square feet C. 345.0 square feet D. 244.5 square feet
Nesterboy [21]
So you do 18 x 8 to get the area of the rectangle bit. (18 x 8 = 144)
Then you can put the two half circles together to make a full circle. Area of a circle is
pi x radius x radius

so the radius would be half of the diameter (8/2 = 4)
so area would be:
Pi(equal to around 3.14) x 4 x 4 = 50.2
then you add the areas of the rectangle and circle
144 + 50.2 = 194.2

A catering service offers 12 appetizers, 8 main courses, and 4 desserts. A customer is to select 9 appetizers, 3 main courses, a
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

73920

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of ways to choose 9 appetizers from 12: ₁₂C₉

Number of ways to choose 3 main courses from 8: ₈C₃

Number of ways to choose 2 desserts from 4: ₄C₂

The total number of ways is:

₁₂C₉ × ₈C₃ × ₄C₂

= 220 × 56 × 6

= 73920

What are the r- values of the following data to three decimal places?
Olin [163]

Answer:

Option D. -0.901

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The correlation coefficient r measures the strength and direction of a linear relationship between two variables. The value of r is always between +1 and –1

Using a Excel tool (Correl function)

The value of coefficient r is -0.9006876

Round to three decimal places

r=-0.901
