The circumference of a circle if a diameter is 14 feet is: 43.96

BECAUSE:
The formula to solve circumference is:
3.14 (pi) × diameter = circumference

Plug in diameter with 14:
3.14 × 14 = 43.96

Hope this helps!

The circumference is the amount of length around the circle the diameter is the distance across the middle of the circle, first off you need the formulas which are to find the circumference of a circle use the formula C=2 * (pi) * r to find the diameter use the formula D=2 * (pi) and remember that the radius of a circle is the distance from the perimeter of the circle to the center of the circle (half the diameter) so half of 14 equals 7,so in close C= 2 * 3.14 * 7 = 43.96. Answer:

152 square inches

Step-by-step Explanation:

To answer this, please look at the picture below. We can find the area by separating and combine the value of areas after calculating three values for each areas. (Notice that when we separate them, we get three rectangles which we can use the formula of width × length)

We should get 80+48+24 which add up to 152.

In case if you are confused which parts you don't understand in these photos, you can ask in the comment.

Answer:

\textsf{C)} \quad 11-60i

Step-by-step explanation:

\textsf{Multiply }\: (6-5i)^2

\implies (6-5i)(6-5i)

\implies 6(6-5i)-5i(6-5i)

\implies 36-30i-30i+25i^2

\implies 36-60i+25i^2

\textsf{Remember that }i^2=-1:

\implies 36-60i+25(-1)

\implies 36-60i-25

\implies 36-25-60i

\implies 11-60i

What is two and three hundreds seventy thousandths in decimal form
givi [52]

Answer:

2.370

Step-by-step explanation:

In this, the word "and" means the decimal point so:

two and 3

=

2.3

so the tenths place would be the first number after the decimal point, you can think of it as counting backwards. 1000  100  10  "0"  0.1  0.01  0.001

thousnd hundrd tn zro tnths hundrds thousndths

so the 3 hundred would be 0.3 and the sevenTY thousandths would be 0.070

so add that all up and you get:

2.370

or

two and three hundreds seventy thousandths

Hope this helped! Pls Brainliest! It would help and mean a lot! ; )

The graph of a line is shown below. What is the equation of the line, in slope-intercept form, that is parallel to this line and
Alex_Xolod [135]

Earlier in this chapter we have expressed linear equations using the standard form Ax + By = C. Now we're going to show another way of expressing linear equations by using the slope-intercept form y = mx + b.

In the slope-intercept form you use the slope of the line and the y-intercept to express the linear function.

<span><span>y=mx+b</span><span>y=mx+b</span></span>

Where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

Example

Graph the equation

<span><span>y−2x=1</span><span>y−2x=1</span></span>

rewrite in slope-intercept form

<span><span>y=2x+1</span><span>y=2x+1</span></span>

Identify the slope and the y-intercept

m = 2 and b = 1

Plot the point corresponding to the y-intercept, (0,1)

The m-value, the slope, tells us that for each step to the right on the x-axis we move 2 steps upwards on the y-axis (since m = 2)

And once you have your second point you can just draw a line through the two points and extend it in both directions.

You can check to see that the line you've drawn is the correct one by substituting the coordinates of the second point into the original equation. If the equation holds true than the second point is correct.

Our second point = (1, 3)

<span><span>y−2x=1</span><span>y−2x=1</span></span>

<span><span>3−2⋅1=3−2=1</span><span>3−2⋅1=3−2=1</span></span>

Our second point is a solution to the equation i.e. the line we drew is correct.

A line that passes through the origin has a y-intersect of zero, b = 0, and represents a direct variation.

<span><span>y=mx</span><span>y=mx</span></span>

In a direct variation the nonzero number m is called the constant of variation.

You can name a function, f by using the function notion

<span><span>f<span>(x)</span>=mx+b</span><span>f<span>(x)</span>=mx+b</span></span>

f(x) is another name for y and is read as "the value of f at x" or "f of x". You can use other letters than f to name functions.

A group of functions that have similar characteristics are called a family of functions. All functions that can be written on the form f(x) = mx + b belong to the family of linear functions.

The most basic function in a family of functions is called the parent function. The parent function of all linear functions is

<span><span>f<span>(x)</span>=x</span></span>
