Religion: It was n<span>ot dominated by a specific religion which gave way to religious freedom for Quakers, Catholics, Lutherans, Jews and others; Governance and Trade: It was governed as a Royal Colony and had arable land for farming and manufacturing outputs which meant employment and trade were high. </span>

Two ways in which the New Jersey colony was more democratic than many colonies were its religious freedom and constitutional suffrage for women and black people.

Explanation:

Even though the majority of people in the New Jersey colony were Puritans there was tolerance for settlers of other religions. And the first constitution from 1776 gave the right for women and black people in order to evade the decline of the government.

The salaries increased, sometimes drastically some times slowly. An average worker in the 1900 had a salary between 256$ and $439 per year, while in 1929 the average salary was between 752$ and 1164$ per year. This all stopped and became much much worse when the great depression hit in the thirties which left the economy devastated.
