To what extent did women benefit from the American and French Revolutions? What were the main revolutionary ideals, and how did
NeX [460]

The American Revolution, also known as the United States War of Independence, began in the year 1775. Conflicts began with the signing of the Treaty of Paris, which ended the Seven Year War, incorporated in Canada in England and triggered battles in the United States.

The main reason for the revolution was that England imposed on the colonists several tax increases. The metropolis was also trying to restrict the rights of the settlers, who were forced to fight for US independence.

US women have been at war since the American Revolution, and was a good thing for women show their value.

French  Revolution was a period of intense political and social upheaval in France that had a lasting impact on the history of the country and, more broadly, throughout the European continent.

Through the influence of the Enlightenment, the ideas of Freedom, Equality and Fraternity echoed throughout France symbolizing a victory of the bourgeoisie that was consolidated in power.

Women participated in the French Revolution mainly in two ways: with the objective of transforming the economic condition of their family, as well as in the struggle for the conquest of their political rights, seeking equality with men.

Natasha2012 [34]

1: he used salami tactics which is the concept of dividing and conquering opposing alliances.

2: attlee and Truman made it very clear at Yalta and Potsdam the Eastern European country should have freely defined States and government. After Stalin broke that agreement the US offered marshal aid to any countries in eastern Europe. Stalin forbade any countries directly or indirectly controlled by the Soviets to accept the aid.

3: I do not believe they are to blame fully. their reactions to Soviet expansionism sparked the Cold war but if the Soviets agreed and stuck by the pack they made, the us would not have had to react at all so the base of the problem was caused by the Soviets but the spark was caused by The Americans

Write an editorial that responds to George Washington's Farewell Address. Explain whether or not you think Washington was correc
nikitadnepr [17]
In my opinion, George Washington's Farewell Address was a fair and clear warning against political parties/alliances. The reason being is because, having all these alliances and political parties would cause a war. If everyone stated their opinions, and someone doesn't like it, then they will fight about it until the conflict is resolved. Republicans formed a number of societies and clubs throughout the nation, which spread criticism of Washington's political decisions. This caused the birth of the Republican Party after Thomas Jefferson resigned from Washington's cabinet. Washington was against the Federalists which caused a little conflict with the Republican Party. Further more, more evidence provides that Washington's address was a fair warning, due to the fact that more conflict grew in his later term of presidency. Battles raged in the press, attacking one's political views. All in all, i would say that Washington's Farewell Address was a fair, and clear warning. It was correct in my opinion. hope this helped, have an amazing day :)<span />
