A: When you multiply two numbers, their exponents add.
So, 64^{\frac{1}{2}} * 64^{\frac{1}{2}} = 64^{\frac{1}{2} + \frac{1}{2}} = 64^{1} = 64

Since 64^1/2 multiplied by itself is 64, then it is the square root of 64.

B: The area is irrational. 7 * √7 is irrational.

1.
64^1/2 * 64^1/2  = 64^(1/2 + 1/2) = 64^1  = 64

2. Area = l * w  = 7 * √7  =  7√7

√7 is irrational  so 7√7 is irrational also

<u>Solution-</u>

Properties of Correlation Coefficient,

1- A positive correlation means that if one variable gets bigger, the other variable tends to get bigger.

2- A negative correlation means that if one variable gets bigger, the other variable tends to get smaller.

As in this graph x  increases y gets decreased, so it is a negative co-relation. And the points are scattered more the line, so it is a moderate negative co-relation graph. (Please follow the attached picture herewith)

what is the coordinate of the vertex of the parabola y-2=1/12(x+10) a. ( 10,-2) b. (-10,2) c. (-2,10) d. (2.-10)
solniwko [45]

Answer:

y-a= c(x-b)^2

With the vertex V= (b,a)

We see that b = -10 and a = 2 and then the vertes wuld be:

V= (-10,2)

And the best option is:

b. (-10,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

For this problem we have the following function:

y-2 = \frac{1}{2} (x+10)

And if we compare this expression with the general expression for a parabola given by:

y-a= c(x-b)^2

With the vertex V= (b,a)

We see that b = -10 and a = 2 and then the vertes wuld be:

V= (-10,2)

And the best option is:

b. (-10,2)

If y = 3x squared + 4 find the value of y when x = 2
qaws [65]

Answer:

The value of y is 16.

Step-by-step explanation:

You have to substitute x = 2 into the equation :

y =  {3x}^{2}  + 4

Let x = 2,

y = 3( {2)}^{2}  + 4

y = 3(4) + 4

y = 12 + 4

y = 16
