What are some of the legal and ethical issues that could result from using manipulated photographs? Do altered photographs repre
Alex73 [517]

Answer:

Altered photographs literally do not represent the truth.

Explanation:

Some of the legal and ethical issues associated with using manipulated photographs include:

a. The tendency to abuse the subject’s reputation and sensitivities

b. The issue of the truthfulness of the photographs in order to protect false representation especially in commerce and advertisement. Although with a clause of exception when used in artwork.

c. Another issue is that which deals with copyright or content ownership. It is unethical to use manipulated photographs for a purpose when you do not have rightful ownership over the image.

In summary, the law primarily protects private interests in the authenticity of the image, while the public interest in the authenticity of the image is mainly found in the Trade Practices Act, which again operates in the commercial context. These laws are interested in the labelling of the artwork, not its truth value, unless there is some falsehood in the representation.

The goal of writing is to_______.
Andreyy89

Answer:

A. Communicate

Explanation:

I would say that it is A because while all the other answers are correct, and you can write to entertain, inform, persuade, etc., they are all forms of communication. Writing is used to communicate, whether the person writing is communicating something that is entertaining, informative, or persuasive. Since the bottom three all fit into the category of communication, I would say A.

irina1246 [14]
True. Last 2005, Sempel wrote "Parks in Peril" on New York Times he, was calling the attention of the government of having a well-managed system to keep the National Park. He explained that there are already some historical sites like buildings, roads and parks were not attended and eventually fell apart. Repairs were not monitored to provide proper maintenance.
