Answer:

She should order a total of 5,160 medium sized t-shirts

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the number of medium sized t-shirt to be ordered, we shall be using the proportion of students that wanted medium sized t-shirt in her survey to multiply the total number of students that we have.

From the question, we can identify that the probability that a student will like a medium sized t-shirt is simply 129/300

Now we have about 12000 students in the University, using the probability from the survey, the number of medium sized t shirt she should order would be;

129/300 * 12,000 = 129 * 40 = 5,160 medium sized t-shirts

You are buying a car. you have a choice of 2 transmissions, 2 kinds of doors, and 4 colors. how many possible cars could you buy
scoray [572]
Hi there,

There are 3 variables: transmissions, kind of door, and color.

Each variable could be independently chosen against the others. This means that we can apply product rule.

The answer is: 2 * 2 * 4 = 16 possible cars.

A right come has a volume of 24pie cubic meters and a radius of 3 meters find the height of the cone
JulijaS [17]
Hello!

The equation for find the h when given volume and radius is

h = 3 \frac{V}{ \pi  r^{2} }

h is height
v is volume
r is radius

Put in the values you know

3 \frac{24 \pi }{ \pi  3^{2} }

Since there is pi on the top and bottom we can get rid of it

multiply the 3 by the top number

\frac{72}{9}

the answer is 8m

Hope this helps!

Central Park in New York City is shaped like a rectangle. On a map of the park
mariarad [96]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the coordinate plane, three of the vertices of the rectangle are located at (-1.25, -0.25),

(-1.25, 0.25), and (1.25, 0.25)

The length L of the shape will be:

L = 0.25 - ( - 0.25 )

L = 0.25 + 0.25

L = 0.5

The width of the shape will be:

W = 1.25 - ( - 1.25)

W = 1.25 + 1.25

W = 2.5

Perimeter P = 2L + 2W

Substitute the Length and the width into the formula

P = 2(0.5) + 2(2.5)

P = 1 + 5

P = 6 metres

Therefore, the perimeter of the shape is 6 metres

How do you end up with 0=0
Eva8 [605]
Ok so first plug in y for in the equation 2x-2y=12
Therefore 2x - 2(x -6)=12
Then distribute the two to the x and the -6
2x-2x+12=12
The 2x's cancel leaving you with
12=12
From there you could subtract the 12 from both sides to get 0=0, I assume
