There are 7 vertebrate classes:
1.Agnatha-jawless fish that do not have scales.
2. Chondrichthyes- Fish that have skeletons
3. Osteichthyes- bony fish
4. Amphibia-Frogs, toads, and salamanders 
5. Reptilia- turtles, snakes, lizards, alligators, and other large reptiles
6.Aves - all birds
7. Mammalia - Dogs, cats, bears, humans and most other large animals
