All the angles in a triangle equal 180 degrees.

So,

y+40+y+30= 180

2y+70= 180

2y= 110

Divide by 2.

y= 55

"A" is the answer.

I hope this helps!

Well we know where the y + 30 degrees is not a right angle it is a little bit from a right angle. So we know if we add 110 to 30 that will equal more than 90 degrees. So c is not the answer. If we add 85 to 30 that also equals more than 90 degrees. 10 plus 30 equals 40degrees. But that does not look like it is 40 degrees because the other angle is 40 degrees. So A is the answer 55 degrees.

Tasya [4]

Answer:

Hey boss man, just add up all the sides! For example, just add 3.9+3.9+3.9! and if there is a line in the middle of a certain side, it means that it is congruent or the same as another side with a dash. For example, with number 2, the side without a measurement is congruent with the the side with measurement of 7mm! Hope this helps! You got this! :)

a quadrilateral has 2 right angles. the measure of the third angle is 73, what is the measure of the forth angle?
hoa [83]

Answer: 107 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

A quadrilateral is defined as a 2-dimensional closed shape which has four sides and four vertices.

By definition the interior angles of a quadrilateral add up 360 degrees.

We know that this quadrilateral has 2 right angles (which are angles that measure 90 degrees) and we know that the measure of the third angle is 73 degrees.

Let be "x" the measure of the fourth angle.

Then you can write this expression:

360\°=90\°+90\°+73\°+x

And finally solve for "x":

 360\°=253\°+x

360\°-253\°=x

x=107\°
