Answer:

The correct answer is the first option: "He was a slave who argued he was free".

Explanation:

In 1846, this man argued that both he and his wife Harriet lived for 4 years in Illinois and Wisconsin where slavery was illegal and therefore considered that they should be released. This demand is made because he did not have the money to buy his freedom.

The United States Supreme Court ruled against Scott and also established that no person with an African heritage could have the right to citizenship. In that moment, the Supreme Court also states that Congress cannot prohibit slavery in federal territories.

At present, many people describe this historical event as an attack on human dignity since by 1850, slavery on the American continent had been eliminated almost entirely.

PLEASE MARK BRAINLIEST!

Answer:

This is MY answer! I did not plagiarize, and these are my words. You can use my answer, but do not copy it! [I suggest rewording the answer, because then it doesn't count as plagiarism]. Thank you! --

People flocked toward new Greek cities during the Hellenistic Era. This is because the era emphasized on philosophy, scientists, literature, sculpture, architecture, etc. New kings wanted new and old [Greek] cities to be the (cultural) centers of Greece. Scientists from this era made [major] discoveries in astronomy, and in math.

Two important philosophers - Epicurus and Zeno - also helped with Greek culture. They both showed the world different kinds of ways to look and find happiness. Epicurus worked with pleasure and emotion/feeling while Zeno practiced with reason and logic.

I hope this helps!~
