It is a quantitative tool employed in experimental analysis for measuring rate response rate and relative rate of reinforcement in concurrent reinforcement schedule for two or more behavior. Matching laws are applied in conditions whereby two or more alternative responses are available, therefore, the ratio of response rate of the response is equal to the ratio of reinforcement yielded by each response.
