The correct answer will be the second one Growth of a tumor
The large cell develop into mature gamete call ovum and it cytoplasm from the egg. The unequal distribution of the cytoplasm during oogenesis is necessary as the zygote that results in the cytoplasm from the egg. So the egg needs to have as much cytoplasm as possible
The only competitors that humans have for food are other humans and insects: Agree; we do compete with other animals for food
<u>Explanation:</u>
The term competitor is used to describe interaction that takes place within any two organisms as a result of which both the organisms are affected. The functional role that an organism have within the environment is known as Niche.
Parasitism refers to the interaction that takes place between any two organisms or species as a result of which only one will get benefits and the other one will be getting affected. In an ecosystem, every organism strives hard for living and need food for its survival. Hence, the competitors for food in an ecosystem will be other human, insects, animals, etc.
Answer: hypothesized that the higher pH levels would increase the rate
of movement of the Artemia. The students placed the Artemia in petri dishes with 2 mm x 2
mm grids marked off on the bottom of the dishes. The students calculated how fast the Artemia
traveled in each pH (4-9) solution by counting the number of squares on the grid that the
Artemia crossed per second of timing.
The data collected from their experiment is presented below:

Explanation: yes
Answer:
The question: Do mice live longer when they are fed high sugar diets?
Hypothesis: There are two hypothesis the null hypothesis which we assume is correct, it states that a high sugar diet will have no effect on the life span of a mouse and an alternate hypothesis that we accept if evidence shows that sugar does increase the life span if mice. It says a high sugar diet does incerease the life span of mice.
Prediction: Assume that the null hypothesis is correct. High sugar diets will not increase the life span of the mice.
Collect data through experimentation. Use some mice as a 'control'. These mice will not undergo any changes but will be kept for comparison. Expose some other mice to high sugar diets and the compare the outcome with the 'control' mice.
Analyzing: From the experiment this you can choose which hypothesis you are going to accept. I.e. null: no change or alternate: there was a change and do some extra research to back up your hypothesis.
Hope this helps :)
