Answer:

The question: Do mice live longer when they are fed high sugar diets?

Hypothesis: There are two hypothesis the null hypothesis which we assume is correct, it states that a high sugar diet will have no effect on the life span of a mouse and an alternate hypothesis that we accept if evidence shows that sugar does increase the life span if mice. It says a high sugar diet does incerease the life span of mice.

Prediction: Assume that the null hypothesis is correct. High sugar diets will not increase the life span of the mice.

Collect data through experimentation. Use some mice as a 'control'. These mice will not undergo any changes but will be kept for comparison. Expose some other mice to high sugar diets and the compare the outcome with the 'control' mice.  

Analyzing: From the experiment this you can choose which hypothesis you are going to accept. I.e. null: no change or alternate: there was a change and do some extra research to back up your hypothesis.

Mountains are large formations of land at high altitudes, where conditions are often difficult. For example, cold weather and food shortages.

In the highest areas of the mountains, animals such as vultures, eagles, hawks and other birds of prey usually prevail.

In addition, it is common for the sides of the mountains to be covered with forests. In these areas it is possible to observe the predominance of animals such as moose, goats, sheep, skunks, llamas and lynx. This group has good climbing skills and manages to stay in the side of the mountains and in some high areas (not as high as the previous group).

Meanwhile, in the lower parts of the mountains, where the forest is denser, it is possible to observe the predominance of snakes, wolves, marmots, foxes, etc.

The following tests can determine the mineral in a rock specimen:

1. How does the rock crumble or split under pressure?

2. What is the texture of the rock?

3. Observing it under a magnifying lens.

4. Determine the color of the rock



Test 1 and 3 determines if the rock is granular and the types of grains in the rock. Test 3 also determines if the rock has layers hence sedimentary rock.

Determining whether color of the rock is dark or light also helps identify the mineral and type of rock.

Water undergo hydrolysis in presence of sunlight to form proton(H+) and hydroxyl ion(OH-) ion. The OH- ion liberates electron to reaction center of photosystem 1 thereby exciting the later .The excited photosystem then donates that extra electron to the primary electron acceptor and from the primary electron acceptor the electron moves through various electron carriers to generate ATP .

    Basically water act as reducing agent in photosynthesis process.
