Answer:

D) All the above

Explanation:

Poverty is the situation of not being able to satisfy the basic physical and mental needs of a decent life due to lack of resources such as food, housing, education, healthcare, drinking water or electricity. Poverty can affect a person, a group of people or an entire geographic region.

It is also usually considered as poverty to situations in which the lack of economic means prevents access to such resources. Situations such as unemployment, lack of income or a low level of income. Likewise, poverty can be the result of processes of social exclusion, social segregation or marginalization (conversely, the fact that a person becomes poor can also lead to marginalization). In many third world countries, poverty occurs when it is not possible to cover the needs included in the basic food basket or there are problems of underdevelopment.

In most social contexts, poverty is considered negative and painful, although in some areas of a spiritual or religious nature, voluntary poverty is considered a virtue because it implies the renunciation of material goods - monastic vote of poverty. Historically, poverty has been valued very differently according to the ideology or ideologies of each era; So it was in medieval economic thought. Other than voluntary poverty is the austere life or simple life, close to both spiritual and ecological positions -decrease-.
