Answer:

The Bull Moose Party was started by President Theodore Roosevelt.

Explanation:

The Progressive Party was an American political party founded in 1912 after disagreements had occurred within the Republican Party. Former President Theodore Roosevelt could no longer agree with the policy of the then president, William Howard Taft. The newly founded Progressive Party chose Roosevelt in 1912 as its presidential candidate. Roosevelt could not achieve the election (Woodrow Wilson Democrat won), but still finished second, ahead of Taft. In 1914, the Progressive Party only achieved a few election profits. The party was abolished in 1916 and two years later the elected members rejoined the Republicans.

The party is also known as the Bull Moose Party after former President Roosevelt was shot at a campaign in Wisconsin and he reassured the public: "I'm fit as a bull moose." Roosevelt finished his one and a half hour speech despite the injuries.

stepan [7]

Answer:

B. The student is likely to be agitated and uncomfortable

Explanation:

This is an incomplete question. The card that is displayed is showed below.

Solomon Asch's experiments were conducted to investigate the extent to which social pressure from the majority of a group could affect a particular person to conform to their opinions even if they were clearly wrong. Solomon Asch argued that when in a group, individuals will feel pressured to conform to the opinion of the majority.

In this example, Ted is working for Asch, and a college student sits to his left, this student is the only one not working for Asch. He shows the card below and asks all of them which line is the longest. It is clear that the longest one is A. However, all the other confederates say that C is the longest and then Ted says that B is the longest. All of them are clearly wrong and the student is likely to be agitated and uncomfortable wondering if he's wrong thinking that A is the longest one.

sveta [45]

Answer:

Content validity

Explanation:

Your friend, Tania, is asking your advice on her new study design. She is conducting a study on whether milk chocolate consumption prior to a memory task will improve recall performance as compared to consuming white chocolate. She decides to include three participants in each group. You tell her that she should likely have more participants or she will lack content validity. Content validity has to do with whether your research subjects or respondents are representative of all aspect of your research construct. Increasing the sample size or the number of replicates per treatment increases the construct validity by increasing the degree of freedom and reducing experimental error. Increasing the sample size will make the study a more representation of the entire study population.
