Mathematics
1 answer:
Montano1993 [528]4 years ago
7 0
Using trigonometry table :
Sine 0 = 0
Cosine 0 = 1
Tangent 0 = 0
Co-secant 0 = 1/sine 0
                    = 1/0
                    = undefined
Secant 0 = 1/cos 0
               = 1/1
               = 1
Cotangent 0 = 1/tan 0
                     = 1/0
                     = undefined<span />

Barb ate six hamburgers in the last four months. How many do you predict she will eat in two years
Tju [1.3M]
Ok, so to find the answer to this question, first you need to find the specific facts in the problem such as what she ate and for how long/ the period of time. It looks like you have got that already so let's skip it. So, next, you have to find out how many she eats in one month by dividing 4 from 6. Now since this turns up to a decimal we can use a different method. Two years equals 24 months and 4 times 6 equals 24 so, for the two years, Barb is going to eat 36 hamburgers. Hope this helped!

Louise has only 5 cent, 10 cent, and 20 cent coins in her purse. She has 30 coins in total, and she has two more 10 cent coins t
Hoochie [10]
Let x =  number of 5 cent coins.
Then there are (x+2) 10 cent coins.
Let y = 20 cent coins.
Total coins: x+(x+2)+y = 30
2x+y=28
y = 28-2x                             (1)
Total value: 0.05x + 0.1(x+2) + 0.2y = 3.80
0.15x + 0.2y + 0.2 = 3.80
0.15x + 0.2y = 3.60             (2)
Substitute (1) into (2).
0.15x + 0.2(28-2x) = 3.60
-0.25x + 5.60 = 3.60
2.00 = 0.25x
8 = x

From (1), obtain y = 28 - 2(8) = 12
Answer: (x+2) = 8+2 = 10
Louise has 10 10-cent coins

Find g(x), where g(x) is the translation 5 units right and 12 units up of f(x)=3x+5.
Rasek [7]
f(x)=3x+5\\\downarrow/5\ units\ right/\\f(x-5)=3(x-5)+5\\\downarrow/12\ units\ up/\\f(x-5)+12=3(x-5)+5+12\\\\g(x)=3(x-5)+17=3x-15+17=3x+2\\\\Answer:\ \boxed{g(x)=3x+2}
