I believe that it's good for kids to listen to any music they want. It can build them up, and possibly give them confidence. Maybe not the popular stuff going around right now that has no real purpose and all they talk about is how cool they think they are, but music with a meaning, yes. I grew up in a strict christian household and christian music never brought me up any more than my "satanic" bands did. They were always there for me when no one else was, so don't think that just because you don't like it you can take it away from them. You don't understand how much just one song can influence a person. And emo and screamo music can do that way more than popular music can.
