With absolute value equations, we have:

|x| = \left\{        \begin{array}{ll}            -x & \quad x \leq 0 \\            x & \quad x > 0        \end{array}    \right.

So, if x-11 is less than 0, we have -x+11, and if x-11 is greater than 0, we have x-11. Solving these two cases:

-x+11=5x+10 \implies \\-6x=-1\implies \\x=\frac{1}{6}\\\\x-11=5x+10 \implies \\-4x=-1 \implies \\x=\frac{1}{4}

So, our two solutions are 1/6 and .25, and all absolute value equations are solved like this.

the absolute value of anything is a positive number so

lx-11l= 5x+10

x+11=5x+10

-x -x

11=4x+10

-10 -10

1=4x.

1/4=4x/4

1/4=x

1 divided by four = .25

so x =.25

The end points of a diameter of a circle are (6,2) and (-4,7).
motikmotik

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form equation of a circle with radius r is expressed as

( x − h )^2 + ( y − k )^2 =r ^2 ,

where r represents the radius

h and k are the coordinates of the center of the circle C( h , k )

To determine the coordinates at the center of the circle, the midpoint formula would be used. It is expressed as

[(x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2]

Midpoint of the circle =

(6 - 4)/2 , (2 + 7)/2 = (1, 4.5)

h coordinate of the center = 1

k coordinate of the center = 4.5

r^2 = (x - h)^2 + (2 - k)^2

r^2 = (6 - 1)^2 + (2 - 4.5)^2

r^2 = 5^2 + (- 2.5)^2 = 25 + 6.25

r^2 = 31.25

Substituting r^2 = 31.25, h = 1 and k = 4.5 into (x − h )^2 + ( y − k )^2 = r^2, the standard equation of the circle becomes

(x − 1 )^2 + ( y − 4.5 )^2 = 31.25

C(3) = 4/3x + -4<br><br> solve plsss, i appreciate it
pogonyaev

The equation given is:

c(x) = 4/3x + (-4)

Plug in 3 and solve:

c(3) = 4/3(3) + (-4)

c(3) = 12/3 + (-4)

c(3) = 4 + (-4)

Answer: c(3) = 0

Hope I helped!

PLEASE HELP!! Will mark brainliest, i’m struggling. Please find PR.
kap26 [50]

Answer:

PR = 15

Step-by-step explanation:

            PR = PQ + QR

   10x - 45 = 3 + x + 6  {Combine like terms}

   10x - 45 = 9 + x             {Subtract 'x' from both sides}

10x - x - 45 = 9

      9x - 45 = 9                  {Add 45 to both sides}

             9x  = 9 +45

             9x = 54

               x = 54/9

x = 6

PR = 10x - 45

     = 10*6 - 45

     = 60 - 45

PR = 15
