How does Antigone think the public views her fate? Why does she have this impression?

Answer:

After Antigone compares herself to Niobe, the Chorus reminds her she is human, not a goddess. Antigone accuses the Chorus of "mocking [her]." Because of that, she believes that the public thinks she deserves her fate, asking them "why do you all ... insult me now right to my face?" However, she is wrong. Earlier, the Chorus said they were crying for her and also said she carries fame and praise with her to her death. The public generally believes she is being wrongly punished.

Answer:

Women were respected because they helped create and sustain the world.

Explanation:

The Iroquois respected their women greatly because they were the ones who brought them to life. Women are those who have to carry their babies for nine months, take care of themselves in order to preserve the baby's life, sacrifice a lot of things in order to bring the baby safely to this word, which is why this Native American tribe valued women greatly.

They didn't worship them because that would be blasphemy to their gods as women are human, not gods. Options A and B are incorrect because that's a negative view of women that the Iroquois did not have.
