4.55 cm, 4.53 cm, 4.5 cm, and 4.6 cm. Even though you cannot see the line they measured, which of the recorded measurements is not correct according to the precision of the ruler?

Answer:

4.6 cm is not correct according to the precision of the ruler

Explanation:

The precise value is the most nearest measurement value to the exact  value. or in other words the nearness of the measured value to the exact value is called as precision

Here , four students measure the line  and got following four measurement values-

4.51 , 4.55 , 4.53 , 4.5

These values are more or less near to the precision level of each other but the value 4.6 is an outlier with highest deviation from the average group value.

Thus, 4.6 cm is not correct according to the precision of the ruler

6. How is a cell membrane similar to the dialysis tubing used in this experiment?
NNADVOKAT [17]
The dialysis tubing and cell membrane are similar in the fact they protect the cell. The tubing as well as cellmembranes are selectively permeable, they control the movement of substances in and out of the cell. Starch molecules are larger than glucose molecules.
