Answer:

Option A is correct.

y-intercept for the given equation is 5

Step-by-step explanation:

y-intercept: The graph that cut the y-axis

Substitute the value x= 0 and solve for y:

Given the equation: 3y+4x=15       ....[1]

By definition of y-intercept

Substitute the value of x = 0 in [1] to solve for x:

Then;

3y+4(0)=15

Simplify:

3y = 15

Divide both sides by 3 we get;

y =5

Therefore, the y-intercept for the given equation is 5

You're y-intercept will be 4
you have 3y you need to divide 3y, 4x and 15 because you can have more than one y.
15 is you're intercept, now you will divide it by 3, so you're answer will be 4.

It is believed that 43% of the US population can play the piano, 28% can play the guitar, 15% can play the harmonica, 12% can pl
LenaWriter [7]

43% = 'Piano'

28% = 'Guitar'

15% = 'Harmonica'

12% = 'Drums'

2% = ...Other Instruments

- '2' Does seems as to be the smallest but it could be a trick.

- '43' Is the largest percentage out of the whole group.

- '100' Is what you get when you add all of the percentages together.

- And if you try to evaluate the percentages together in either way it'll end up to be '0.00004334' so that executes '250' and '150' from out of the question.

I'm not sure exactly what the actual answer could be but I'm assuming since it said "What is the smallest number of people required for the sample to meet the conditions for performing inference" Then my assumption is '2'.

If Hana is puting the fruit she bought into bowls.she bought 8 melons,12 pears,and 24 apples. She puts the same number of peices
kherson [118]

Answer: There are 2 melons, 3 pears and 6 apples in each bowl.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of melons = 8

Number of pears = 12

Number of apples = 24

We need to find the number of pieces that Hana can put in each bowl.

For greatest number of pieces = H.C.F. of  8, 12, 24 =4

So, Number of pieces of melons = \dfrac{8}{4}=2

So, Number of pieces of pears = \dfrac{12}{4}=3

So, Number of pieces of apples = \dfrac{24}{4}=6

Hence, there are 2 melons, 3 pears and 6 apples in each bowl.
