A politician would be most likely to ignore the results of a public opinion poll on a particular subject if he or she knows that doing so will have a positive impact on the people being represented--since this means he or she will be doing the right thing in the long-run.

The tobacco plantation led in the coming of the white indentured servants in colonies. Servants required to reduce the burden from the settlers. White indentured servants became common during the early settlement.

During the 18th century, there was a sharp rise in the population. There was an increased mingling of different races. People from Africa shipped in American colonies as labours and servants. The South became dependence on slaves for plantation. People from Europe also arrive to start a new life from the beginning.
