6 0

Answer:

Total time split from a common ancestor = 30 million

Explanation:

Given:

Number of nucleotide = 6

Number of organism = 2

Rate one nucleotide = 10 million year

Computation:

Total time split from a common ancestor = [Rate one nucleotide / Number of organism]Number of nucleotide

Total time split from a common ancestor = [10 million / 2] 6

Total time split from a common ancestor = [5 million] 6

Total time split from a common ancestor = 30 million

Suppose you plant a seed and observe that a tree of large mass grows from it.The tree achieves a final mass that changes very li
Nadya [2.5K]

The answer should be

B Both anabolic and catabolic reactions took place in the seed and tree when it was young and growing and both continue now even though the tree reached a stable mass.

The trees should be capable to do both anabolic and catabolic reaction when it is seed or when it is already a big tree. Anabolic reaction happens when the plant making bigger molecule from many smaller molecule, such as in photosynthesis. Anabolic reaction could increase the mass of the plants or be used to make food. Catabolism reaction used to extract energy from the food.

What levels of protein structure would be affected if all hydrogen bonding interactions were prevented? check all that apply?
fgiga [73]

The proteins exhibit four levels of organization:

1. Primary structure: It refers to a sequence of amino acids join together by the peptide bonds to produce a polypeptide chain.

2. Secondary structure: It is a localized twisting of the polypeptide chain by producing a hydrogen bond. Two types are formed, that is, the alpha helix and beta pleated sheet.

3. Tertiary structure: It refers to the three-dimensional composition of a polypeptide chain. The folding is not regular as it is in secondary composition. It produces ionic bonds, hydrophobic interactions, disulfide bond, and hydrogen bond amongst the polypeptide chains.

4. Quaternary structure: It comprises an amalgamation of two or more polypeptide chains that functions as a single functional unit. The bonds are identical as in tertiary composition.

Thus, the levels of secondary, tertiary, and quaternary protein structure would get affected if all the hydrogen bonding associations were inhibited.
