What is the difference between a scientific hypothesis and a scientific theory?
Vladimir79 [104]

Hi! :")

Hypothesis: Recommended explanation of the case taken as a starting point for further investigation.

Theory: The explanation obtained by the scientific method and which has a solid foundation that is tested and approved through observation and experiments.

Difference: Theory is not predicted in any field The accuracy of the same big bang theory is unknown.. However, the hypothesis is still under investigation and proof.

Good Luck ;)

Compare each patient's cdna sequence to the wild-type cdna sequence. Each patient has one nucleotide-pair substitution mutation.
Lera25 [3.4K]

The mutation is a change in the nucleotidic sequence. In the exposed example, Patient 1: nucleotide 143, TTC⇒TGC. Patient 2: nucleotide 143, TTC⇒TCC. Patient 3: nucleotide 147, TTC ⇒ TTG.

What is a mutation?

A mutation is a change or alteration in DNI sequences that introduce new variants.

Many of these are eliminated, but some of them might succeed and be incorporated into each individual.

These mutations are the ones that have been selected by natural selection.

Solving the problem

We know that each sequence initiates with nucleotide number 103 and ends in nucleotide 162.

So first, we will number the nucleotides, from 103 to 162. Each nucleotide has a number in increasing order.

Now, we will identify the mutations in each of the strands by comparing them with the wild-type sequence. The mutation occurs in one of the nucleotides, so we must look for the change in the bases.

Finally, we will identify the nucleotide location of each mutation.

The study of the relative power and limits of genetic and environmental influences on behavior is known as
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

Behavior genetics.

Explanation:

Genetics may be defined as a branch of biology that studies the inheritance and variation of the inherited characters. Mendel is known as the father of the genetics.

Behavior genetics may be defined as the field of the scientific research that uses the genetic methods to investigate the behavioral differences in the individual. This genetics uses the limits of genetics and environmental impact on the individual's behavior.

Thus, the answer is behavior genetics.
