Hello!! Whenever your brain is addicted to drugs, it does not function/work properly as someone who is not addicted to drugs. Just to name a few drugs, Nicotine affects Acetylcholine because it activates receptors and increases alertness. Most people who are addicted to Nicotine are considered to be almost paranoid because they are more alert than usual. Valium affects the neurotransmitter GABA because it enhances receptor binding causing to decrease anxiety. Another one would be Cocaine because it affects the neurotransmitter Dopamine which blocks reuptake and causes euphoria. Your brain allows you to be alert, aware, think properly, and do things normally. Drugs alter that entirely. You will not be your usual self whenever you are on drugs/addicted to drugs. I hope I helped!! Have a great day. :)

Korvikt [17]

Answer:

Temporal partitioning or niche differentiation

Explanation:

Temporal partitioning refers to the variability in the competitive abilities of different species competing for the same resources based on varying conditions of the environment.

The environmental factors could be light, temperature, moisture, etc. Each species specializes in feeding within varied condition of one or more of the factors.

In this case, both species are in competition but while the first species feeds during the day, the second species feeds during the night. Here, light and temperature probably plays a huge factor.

Temporal partitioning is also known as niche differentiation, segregation, separation or niche partitioning.
