Answer: What is unique about Jahir's case of conversion disorder is that this is <u>a psychological condition.</u>

Explanation:

It is a mental condition in which a person has blindness, paralysis or other symptoms of the nervous system (neurological) that cannot be explained by a medical evaluation. Conversion disorder symptoms may occur due to <em>psychological conflict.</em> Symptoms usually begin suddenly after a <em>stressful experience.</em>

People suffering from conversion disorder are not inventing the symptoms in order to obtain accommodation, for example<em> (simulating).</em> They either do not intentionally injure themselves or lie about their symptoms just to become a patient (factitious disorder). Some health care providers falsely believe that this disorder is not a real condition and can tell people that the whole problem is in their head. However, this condition is real. It causes anguish and cannot be controlled at will.

Psychotherapy and stress management training can help reduce symptoms. The affected part of the body or physical function may need physical therapy or occupational therapy until the symptoms disappear.

Answer:

Weathering is the breaking down or dissolving of rocks and minerals on Earths surface. Once a rock has been broken down, a process called erosion transports the bits of rock and minerals away. Water, acids, salt, plants, animals, and changes in temperature are all agents of weathering and erosion.

joja [24]
You may have heard the saying "don't overdo it". This is an incredibly important phrase in terms of certain nutritional items. There is a reason why certain nutritional items give you a count of the percent of "What a Normal Human should consume in a day" or "Daily Value" (nutritional facts). A lot of times you should only consume that one hundred percent more or less, because that is the amount your body will tolerate and the max it makes use of; Vitamin C for example, you'd just urinate, if you have too much.

Vitamin K though is a bit nastier than Vitamin C. It is a fat soluble vitamin (is stored in fat for a long amount of time) in the DEKA group of vitamins (D, E, K, and A) While vital at normal levels for blood coagulation and calcium metabolism, Excessive consumption of excess of Vitamin K can lead to a conditional called Hypervitaminosis or Vitamin (K) Toxicity. This can cause a break down especially in regards to blood coagulation, and you may begin to bleed... a lot. It doesn't help that instead of passing itself swiftly out of the body, it will instead stick to fat cells, for a great deal of time (makes it easier to reach toxic levels too)

How might two different organelles work together to maintain homeostasis in the body
Tatiana [17]
Homeostasis is the regulation of internal conditions, for example, when you get hot you sweat to keep a stable body temperature. In this case, you are looking for what is regulating conditions inside the cell. The semipermeable membrane within the cell regulates what goes in and out of the cell to make sure that it doesn't take in or give up too many nutrients, and lysosomes get rid of bacteria in the cell so it can continue to function.
