The Table shows a rate of 3 miles per hour. So you would multiply the number of hours times 3.

1 x 3 = 3

2 x 3 = 6

4 x 3 = 12

6 x 3 = 18

Time (hours)       Miles

        1                     3

        2                     6

        4                     12

        6                     18

Hope this helps :)
