Area of circle:

A = \pi r^2

radius = \dfrac{diameter}{2}

r = \dfrac{8~in.}{2} = 4~in.

A = \pi \times (4 ~in.)^2

A = 16 \pi ~in.^2

Hello!

A circular pan is the same as a circle

To find the area of a circle you use the equation

\pi  r^{2}

r is radius which is half the diameter

put in 3.14 for pi and the radius

3.14 * 4^{2}

square the 4

3.14 * 16

Multiply

The answer is 50.24

Hope this helps!

The distributions are normal. a. How long will it take (in minutes), on average, to get to school? b. What is the standard deviation of the trip to school? c. What is the probability that it will take longer than 30 minutes to get to school? Due to a miscalculation, you realize it actually takes an average of 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop. d. How long will it take (in minutes), on average, to get to school? e. What is the standard deviation of the trip to school? f. What is the probability that it will take longer than 30 minutes to get to school? The only ones I need help with is C and F. I have the answer for the rest of them. Can someone please help me with parts C and F??

Over [174]
This is fairly simple. Just do 2x15 to get your answer 2x15=30. Explanation if it is 2 times longer you would do 2 and then when it says it is 15 diagonal that is where the 15 comes in and it would be 2x15. So your answer is 30
