The statement is not always true.
For Example...
The LCM of 6 and 8 is not the product of the two numbers
6*8= 48
48 is not the LEAST common multiple
Multiples of 6 are...
6,12,18,24,30,36,42,48...
Multiples of 8 are....
8,16,24,32,40,48...
The least common multiple is 24 not 48 even though they are both common multiples.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

They are testing whether you remember the basic 30,60,90 degree triangle side relationship. The ratio of sides for this triangle are 1 opposite the 30 degree angle, square root of three opposite the 60 degree angle and a hypotenuse of 2 opposite the 90 degree angle.

The hypotenuse of a right angle triangle is 13cm.if one other side of the triangle is 1cm shorter than the hypotenuse.calculate
Alona [7]
<h3><u>Given</u><u>:</u><u>-</u></h3>

  • The hypotenuse of a right angle triangle is 13cm.

  • One other side of the triangle is 1cm shorter than the hypotenuse.

<h3><u>To</u><u> </u><u>find</u><u> </u><u>out</u><u>:</u><u>-</u></h3>

Find the third scale of the triangle .

<h3><u>Solution:-</u><u> </u></h3>

Let the third Side be x.

According to the question,

★ Hypotenuse = 13 cm

★ Other side = Hypotenuse - 1 [ Given ]

= 13 cm - 1 cm

= 12 cm

Now,

<u>By pythagoras theorem</u>,

13² = 12² + x²

⇒ 169 = 144 + x²

⇒ x² = 169 - 144

⇒ x² = 25

⇒ x = √25

⇒ x = 5 cm

Hence, the third scale of the triangle is 5 cm.

Write an exponential function that satisfies the given conditions:
Over [174]

Answer:

1.3(2)^t

Step-by-step explanation:

1.3(2)^t

You start with 1.3 because that is your inital amount, then you multiply by 2 because it doubles, and your exponent will be t (the number of weeks)
