Whats the answer of p-6=19;p=13

Mathematics

P-6=19; p=13

so you just plug the value of P into the problems P and solve the equation

(13) - 6 = 19

7=19

so...that's incorrect because 7 can't equal 19 making the problem No solution. if that's wrong then idk what they're teaching in math any more...

Hello there! :)

<em><u>Answer:</u></em>

<u><em>p=25</em></u>

<u><em>*The answer must have a positive sign.*</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2>Lesson: It's about → Solving One-Step Equations: Addition and Subtraction</h2>

a+c=b+c

Addition property of equality is adding the same number to both sides of an equation does not change the equation.

First, you add by 6 from both sides of an equation.

p-6+6=19+6

Then, you simplify or solve. You can also add by the numbers.

19+6=25

p=25

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

Write the exponential function y = 22(1.35)' in the form y = aekt.
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

  • y = 22·e^(0.3001t), growing
  • annual rate: 35%
  • continuous rate: 30.01%

Step-by-step explanation:

When an exponential function is in the form ...

  y = ab^t

the factor 'b' is called the growth factor. When t is in years, it is related to the annual growth rate (r) by ...

  b = 1 +r

In the alternate form, this can be written ...

  y = a·e^(kt)

Comparing the forms, we see that ...

  b = e^k   ⇒   k = ln(b)

__

<h3>(a)</h3>

  y = 22·1.35^t

  k = ln(1.35) ≈ 0.3001

  y = 22·e^(0.3001t)

The growth factor is greater than 1, so the function is growing.

__

<h3>(b)</h3>

The annual growth rate is ...

  r = 1.35 -1 = 0.35 = 35.00%

__

<h3>(c)</h3>

The continuous growth rate is ...

  k = 0.3001 = 30.01%
