Although a portion of the soil is composed of pocoson, which is a type of soil lacking of nutrients and highly-acid, this region also has territories which are very fertile to plant cotton, soy and tobacco.

What determines the value of fiat currency?
MatroZZZ [7]

The value of Fiat currency is a nation's credit, and that is because it is used to clear off debt by the citizens of a nation.

Fiat currency is, thus, a government issued-currency that is not supported by physical commodity, such physical commodity can be gold or silver.

The value of fiat money then is gotten from the relationship between supply and demand and the stability of government issuing it instead of the worth of a commodity that backs it.

For example, the United states dollar, euro and many world currencies are all fiat currency.

Government, historically, mint coins from valuable physical commodity and print paper money that could be redeemed for a particular amount of physical commodity.

In the case of inflation or hyperinflation, fiat money tends to loose value and this is because it is not connected to physical reserves such as gold or silver. if people lose faith in the country's currency, it tends to lose its value.

This is entirely different from currency that is backed by gold mainly because the demands for products made of gold such as jewelries, computers, electronic devices and aerospace vehicles are very high.

Fiat currency is issued by most government as legal tender for the purpose of debt repayment

How did free African American communities shape American life and culture, and how did black civic leadership transform debates
inysia [295]

Free African American communities during the antebellum period showed the rest of Americans that African Americans could perfectly be as prosperous, self-reliant and educated as white Americans. They provided a showcase of what educated African Americans could accomplish and demonstrated that if they were given the same means and opportunities that white Americans enjoyed, they could perfectly enjoy the same level of prosperity of educated white Americans. The emergence of an active and extremely articulate black leadership showed the rest of Americans that the only thing that separated free, educated African Americans in the 19th from their white counterparts was the color of skin. Furthermore, not only intelligent African American leaders who were born free achieved a great level of education and influence, some of the leaders of the black community had been born into slavery and after escaping had managed to educate themselves and even surpass several white Americans in terms of intellectual accomplishments. Frederick Douglass is an excellent example of this. Despite being born into slavery and remaining in this condition until the age of 16, he secretly educated himself and escaped to become one of the most powerful and eloquent orator of the abolitionist movement.
