Scientific notation means -- one digit before the decimal point, all the others after it; -- count jow many places you have to move the decimal point to make the number look like that; -- left is positive, right is negative; -- after the digits, write " x 10 to the power of" that number from moving the point. / / / / You're starting with 0.006468 . You want it to be 6.468 . You have yo move the decimal point 3 places to the right ... that makes the power -3 . Finally, in scientific notation, it's 6.468 x 10 to the -3 power.

Can someone please help me, ASAP.
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

$112 for 16 hours

$280 for 40 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, given that if 7x dollars are earned working for x hours (x is assumed to be 1), then $7 are earned for every hour worked. So we can pretty much multiply $7 (Money earned per hour) by 16 and then 40 (Hours worked). 7*16=112, and 7*40=280. And there are your two answers.

The solutions to a certain quadratic equation are x=-4 and x=3
Svetach [21]

Then the equation could be ( x + 4)(x - 3) = 0

= x^2 + x - 12 = 0

Or it could be any equation that multiplies this equation by an integer k:-

k(x^2 + x - 12) = 0 ( k not = 0)
