If you put a sugar cube in hot tea it will dissolve because the heat from the tea will make the sugar cube deform and the sugar from the sugar would mix/dissolve or sink to the bottom of the tea.

The molecules in the sugar dissolved in water. it did not dissociate though, just dissolved. the atoms in each individual molecule stayed in tact, but the intermolecular forces broke apart.

Consider a political discussion group of 8 democrats, 8 republicans and 6 independent suppose the teo groups meme bet are random
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

The probability of selecting two democrats is 1/380

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Probability is the branch of mathematics that deals with numerical descriptions of how likely an event is to occur.
  • Probability of an event = Number of favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes.

Here we are given the people as,

8 democrats, 8 republicans and 6 independent.

So total number of people are: 8+6+6=20

Probability of choosing first democrat = 1/20

Probability of choosing first democrat = 1/19

Thus P( two democrats in succession ) = 1/20 ×1/19

                                                                = 1/380

navik [9.2K]

Answer:

93.1

24.83

24.13

2755

12.75

0.151

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

21.1 + 45.99 + 26.0 = 93.09

15.55 + 21.61 - 12.333 = 24.827

14 + 0.8 + 9.33 = 24.13

14.5 * 190 = 2755

5.1 * 2.5 = 12.75

0.15 ÷ 0.991 = 0.151

You put $939 into an investment at 6% for 6 years. What will be the balance at the end of 6 years
Alecsey [184]

We will use a Future Value Formula:

FV=PV(1 + i)ⁿ

$939 is our Present Value (PV)

.06 (6%) will be substitued for i (interest)

6 years will be substituated for "n" (numbers of periods)

FV = $939 (1 + .06) ^6

FV = 1331.989446 or rounded to 1331.99 balance at the end of 6 years
