So what you need to do is multiply and add
56 miles PER HOUR
56 x 3 = 168 miles
so 15 minutes is 1/4 of an hour
56 x 0.25 = 14 miles (14 x 4 = 56)
14 + 168 = 182 miles (answer)

The example in that question, the age of Roger is the independent variable. This means that the variable left is granola bars. This make it the dependent variable since it depends on the age of Roger.

The age does not depend on the amount of granola bars eaten by Roger but the amount of granola bars may depend with age of Roger.

Johnny is paid a one-time fee of $245.00 for all his jobs. His uncle also pays him $20.00 for each hour that he works. After all
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

100 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

If Johnny is paid 245.00 as a one time fee for all his jobs then the total money he is paid is 2245.00

We need to separate the hourly fee from the one-time fee so we subtract 245 from 2245. This leaves us with 2000 dollars.

We know that he will be paid 20 dollars per hour so we need to divide 2000 by 20. This leaves us with 100.

Therefore Johnny worked 100 hours
