B. to protect individual rights

The rights of the citizen’s respect of privacy and freedom. Amendments were set by the constitution to enable where the government and authorities draw the line. Form of legalities such as “warrant” for instance, for search of property and of arrest needs evidence in order not to violate the individual’s right. This is to also show that the persons involved have the capacity and right to protect himself/herself against such alleged acts. Not forcefully and in an unfair manner hold the individual guilty without proper procedures. That’s why there a boundary of authority.
