So first you do 9 x 2 = 18. So that means that at the end of those 9 months, Jordan has a total of 18 books.

Well, you want to know how many more books does he need before he has bought 25. & that's an easy subtracting question.

So now you do 25 - 19 = 6.

So we now know that  Jordan will need to buy 6 more books before he gets to 25 all together.

I hope you understand ! (:

The data below show the numbers of miles driven to work each day by the employees of a small company 15, 25, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22,
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

The mean absolute deviation is 3.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Miles travel: 15, 25, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24

Mean: 19 miles

Required:

Mean absolute deviation.

Given that the mean of the data is known, we start by subtracting the mean from each dataset

15 - 19 = -4

25 - 19 = 6

13 - 19 = -6

15 - 19 = -4

18 - 19 = -1

20 - 19 = 1

22 - 19 = 3

24 - 19 = 5

Then we calculate the absolute value of each

|-4| = 4

|6| = 6

|-6| = 6

|-4| = 4

|-1| = 1

|1| = 1

|3| = 3

|5| = 5

Add up these result;

4 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 5

= 30

Divide by number of data, to give mean absolute deviation (MAD)

MAD = 30/8

MAD = 3.75

Hence, the mean absolute deviation is 3.75

PLZ. Using all of my points for this. I need this please help.
podryga [215]

Answer:

6. - 4+2=-2, -2+2=0, -1+2=1 therefore the lower the initial value the higher the result will be. This is because of the fact that x is a negative.

7.  After 5 iterations of the equation -2[x-2]+4 it ended up looping at 1.6 and 3.2, they just kept repeating each other.

8.  This loop is never ending it took me 13 iterations to see that it will works it will result in 2.24 again just as the 3 iteration.

9.  My function was 4(x)-x^2 with an initial value of 2, after ten times I got a value of 3.51 it looped over and over.

11. I do not notice any type of relationship.

If anyone finds number 10 let me know, I'm stuck.

Minchanka [31]

Answer:

-8.

Step-by-step explanation:

-2|-1+5|

The absolute value function |-1+5| = |4| = 4

You are right.
