In France, the Socialists attempt to fight the effects of the Great Depression by passing worker reforms.

Further Explanations:

The Great Depression exaggerated France for almost half of the decade since 1931. France faced more bitter consequences than other nations. During 1920 sit was having a flourishing economy with an increased rate of 4.43% per year and as the depression hit it mildly, it devastated the whole economy. The production fell below 20% and the employment fell below 5%. The depression also affected the local economy as can be reflected in the crisis of 6th February 1934. France put a lot of effort to recover from the depression but was not able to gain much as compared to other nations like Germany and the United States in spite of having a prior flourishing economy.

To recover from the depression Socialist also laid much effort. They introduced workers' reforms proposing to reduce working hours and pay wages for extra work. The reforms ensured that the citizens are getting much time to find another source of Income.

What impact did the actions of the fighting unit known as the Rough Riders have on the United States?
sleet_krkn [62]
The volunteers were gathered in four areas: Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. They were gathered mainly from the southwest because the hot climate region that the men were used to was similar to that of Cuba where they would be fighting. "The difficulty in organizing was not in selecting, but in rejecting men."[3]:5 The allowed limit set for the volunteer cavalry men was promptly met. With news trickling down of Spanish aggression and the sinking of the USS Maine men flocked from every corner of the regions to display their patriotism.

What were some actual motives of why people fought in the crusades?
vredina [299]

Answer:

The Crusades were a series of military campaigns organised by Christian powers in order to retake Jerusalem and the Holy Land back from Muslim control. There would be eight officially sanctioned crusades between 1095 CE and 1270 CE and many more unofficial ones. Each campaign met with varying successes and failures but, ultimately, the wider objective of keeping Jerusalem and the Holy Land in Christian hands failed. Nevertheless, the appeal of the crusading ideal continued right up to the 16th century CE.
