Compare and contrast attitudes in the Union and the Confederacy about enlisting African American soldiers.

The confederacy did not allow to have African-American soldiers. They were against the idea of having African-Americans (aka slaves) As soldiers. The union however we’re not against the idea of having African-Americans as soldiers they did open the door for African-Americans to enlist in the union army. Do union army treated the African-Americans the same as the other soldiers and the African Americans did go to the same treatment as the other soldiers. The confederacy in the union had different ideas on African-Americans. The Confederacy was agains The confederacy and the union had different ideas on African-Americans. To conclude the confederacy were against the idea of having African-Americans as soldiers because they thought of them as slaves.
