The journey is broken down into five segment

Shop - first delivery = 12 \frac{1}{3} miles
First delivery - second delivery = 8 \frac{3}{4}
Second delivery - third delivery = 17 \frac{2}{8}
Third delivery - fourth delivery = 23 \frac{2}{3}
Fourth delivery - shop = 10 \frac{5}{10}

The average distance for each segment are:
[12 \frac{1}{3}+8 \frac{3}{4}+17 \frac{2}{8}+23 \frac{2}{3}+10 \frac{5}{10} ]÷5

\frac{145}{2}÷5 = \frac{29}{2}=14 \frac{1}{2}

Point P has coordinates (2 , 3) point Q is symmetric to point P with respect to the line x=4 what are the coordinates of point Q
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

Q is (6, 3).

Step-by-step explanation:

The line x = 4 is a vertical line on the coordinate grid which passes through the  x-axis at the point where  x = 4.

So the x coordinate of Q will be the same distance after  x = 4 as P is before it. That is where x = 4+2 = 6. The y coordinate will be the same as that of P.

(Imagine that  the line x = 4 is a mirror, then Q is the image of P).

Which equation are equivalent to 1/5+2/3|2-x|=4/15?
disa [49]

Answer:

• 2/3|2 -x| = 1/15

• |2 -x| = 1/10

• 1/5 +|4/3 -2/3x| = 4/15

Step-by-step explanation:

Starting with the given equation, subtract 1/5 = 3/15.

(2/3)|2 -x| = 4/15 - 3/15

(2/3)|2 -x| = 1/15 . . . . . . . . matches the first choice

Now, multiply by 3/2.

|2 -x| = 3/30

|2 -x| = 1/10 . . . . . . . . . . . . matches the third choice

___

If you decide to distribute the coefficient 2/3 instead, you have

1/5 + |2·2/3 -x·2/3| = 4/15

1/5 + |4/3 -2/3x| = 4/15 . . . . matches the selected choice
