kakasveta [241]

Answer:

Explanation:

If the patient makes any statement that includes the wrong measures or actions that should be taken to prevent side effects then it is clear that they need further teaching. On the basis of treatment for psychosis with perphenazine then such  wrong statement may be something like the following: "If I have a dry mouth then I need to take lozenges or eat hard candy for a period of 2 weeks"

Does anyone know how to answer these questions? PLEASE I NEED HELP ASAP. This is for biology.
kvasek [131]

Answer:

Answer No 3: Recent studies and researches have shown that the muscle cells do not actually wear and tear during heavy exercises. What happens is that micro tears are formed in the muscle fibers as a result of heavy exercise. These micro tears  cause the muscle cells to rebuild themselves.

Answer No 4: One of the biggest reasons that the insertions done by CRISPR-Cas9 insertion would not pass to future generations is because the specialized cells are being modified in this system. As the specialized cells do not have the tendency to for all cells of the body hence, the insertion made by CRISPR-Cas9 will most likely not be transferred to the future generation.

If Meselson and Stahl had used CsCl gradient analysis and identified DNA molecules with two distinct densities after the first g
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

conservative replication model

Explanation:

In their experiment, Meselson and Stahl found that the DNA duplexes present after the first round of replication had intermediate density. This occurred since the semiconservative process of DNA replication of one DNA molecule (having both strands with 15N) forms two DNA duplexes each with one parental strand (15N) and one newly formed strand (14N).

If they had found two duplexes of two different density, this would have supported the conservative replication model. In this case, the DNA replication of the parent DNA molecule would have formed two DNA duplexes. One DNA molecule would have both the parental DNA strands with 15N while the other DNA duplex would have both newly formed strands with 14N.

Why aren't all the cells in our body totipotent our entire lives
maksim [4K]

Answer:

somatic cells have highly specific functions

Explanation:

In our body, the major part of cells is irreversibly differentiated into somatic cells. From a cellular point of view, this process of differentiation seems to be an evolutionary disadvantage. However, cellular differentiation is a process aimed at exploiting the genetic variation in order to obtain a highly specialized cell type that is capable of carrying out a specific cellular function. For example, keratinocytes are highly specialized epithelial cells that function by separating the organism from the surrounding environment.
