Answer: The correct answer is a. transfer rnaRNA (tRNA).

tRNA (transfer RNA) plays and important role in the formation of proteins using mRNA transcript. It brings specific amino acid to the ribosome site where mRNA is present. It has anticodon site (that is complementary to the specific three nucleotide sequence called codon which are present in the mRNA) and an amino acid binding site where amino acid is attached.

Thus, by reading specific codons of the mRNA, particular amino acids are assembled in a sequence (through peptide bond) and protein is synthesised.

Therefore, tRNA acts like a deliver truck that delivers particular amino acid.

What is the main reason that viruses are not considered to be living
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer: C.) They need the host cell to replicate

Explanation:

Viruses are not made out of cells, they can't keep themselves in a stable state, they don't grow, and they can't make their own energy. Even though they definitely replicate and adapt to their environment, viruses are more like androids than real living organisms.

plz help!!! If this is a sequence of one DNA strand, what is the complementary sequence of the other DNA strand? DNA: A T T C A
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

T A A G T C G C T

Explanation:

DNA strand:                             A T T C A G C G A

complementary DNA strand:  T A A G T C G C T

This is a very important rule:

Four kinds of nitrogenous bases in DNA: Adnine (A), Thymine (T), Guanine (G), Cytosine (C)

And this is how they're coupled:

A = T

C = G

For example::

First DNA strand:                  A T G C

complementary strand:        T A C G
