tRNA (transfer RNA) plays and important role in the formation of proteins using mRNA transcript. It brings specific amino acid to the ribosome site where mRNA is present. It has anticodon site (that is complementary to the specific three nucleotide sequence called codon which are present in the mRNA) and an amino acid binding site where amino acid is attached.

Thus, by reading specific codons of the mRNA, particular amino acids are assembled in a sequence (through peptide bond) and protein is synthesised.

Therefore, tRNA acts like a deliver truck that delivers particular amino acid.
